Tenesix Announces Release of DS3 and SPI-3 eVC'sTenesix and Verisity Inc., a leading provider of verification tools, announced the release of a DS3 eVC and SPI-3 eVC on June 11, 2001.VERISITY AND TENESIX DELIVER e VERIFICATION COMPONENTS FOR DS3 AND SPI-3
"Tenesix has leveraged our verification consulting experience to create the DS3 and SPI-3 eVCs," said Arun Chaddha, president of Tenesix. "Our partnership with Verisity enables us to base these technologies on the best verification methodology available and provide our customers with a leap in productivity and product quality." By using eVCs, verification engineers can reduce the amount of work needed to create a verification environment and shorten the time it takes to begin running self-checking tests. The DS3 eVC carries bitsync HDLC, ATM & ATM PLCP data and the SPI-3 eVC carries ATM or packet data. Each can be used in a variety of design applications and includes three integrated components: input generators for generating and injecting traffic, monitors and checkers for both data integrity and protocols, and functional coverage analysis. The Verification Alliance program enables partners to develop and distribute eVCs as well as provide customers with verification methodology consulting and training services based on Verisity solutions. "We created the Verification Alliance program to provide customers with additional resources from consulting partners and greater availability of plug-and-play components," said Dave Tokic, director of strategic marketing for Verisity. "Tenesix's DS3 and SPI-3 eVCs are key elements for the verification environment of any design incorporating these standards." Pricing and Availability
